On the UW Professional & Continuing Education website, go to the page for the program you're interested in. Click on the Apply button in the Program Sessions section near the bottom of the page. Once you click the Apply button, you'll see a screen that has two tabs: How to Apply and Requirements.
On the Requirements tab, read over the program requirements to make sure you meet them. On the How to Apply tab, read through the application steps, then click Apply Online to launch the MyContinuum app. Choose your sign-in method. If you’re a former UW or UWPCE student, choose the UW NetID option. Otherwise, select the Google or Apple option. Feeling curious?

All UWPCE certificate programs and specializations require an application and a nonrefundable application fee. When a program is open for applications, instructions on how to apply can be found on the certificate or specialization page. When applications are open, you can find the application deadline in the Apply section of the certificate or specialization page. In general, applications are accepted until two weeks before the first class meeting, or the program fills, whichever comes first.
A few programs may have an earlier deadline. Many UWPCE certificate programs and specializations have an automatic acceptance process. Once you submit an application — including confirming you meet any admissions requirements and paying the application fee — you’re accepted. MyContinuum is the new application system for many programs offered by UW Professional & Continuing Education, a unit of UW Continuum College. It helps you apply for programs, register for classes, connect with an enrollment coach and more. When you apply to a program, you’ll be directed to MyContinuum to complete your application. There are three options: a UW NetID or with your Google or Apple email.
If you’re a former UW or UW Professional & Continuing Education student, use your UW NetID. Otherwise, choose either the Google or Apple options.
