No. 7: TE Tyler Warren (Penn State) "Warren is one of my favorite players in this draft. He will be popular with his quarterback and running backs as a difference-making in-line tight end." No. 7: OLB Mykel Williams (Georgia) "This is another team with quarterback questions, but regardless of Aaron Rodgers' future, the Jets might focus instead on the other side of the ball in Round 1. I'm getting the sense that Williams will get drafted higher than most expect -- he's No.

12 on my board -- and he could give New York more presence off the edge. He needs coaching (Aaron Glenn would be great for his development if the Jets hire him) and has room to grow with his pass-rush technique. But I see the potential for 10-12 sacks per season here. Williams reminds me of another former Georgia edge rusher who didn't have the college stats but absolutely had the talent: Travon Walker. So while five sacks -- Williams did miss time with an ankle injury -- might make you pause, know that he looks the part and has the traits to be a force in the... No.

7: OT Will Campbell (LSU) "Building up the trenches is a part of the Jets' plan to compete with the AFC's heavyweights. Campbell is a rock-solid offensive tackle prospect with the size, strength and skill to dominate on the edges from Day 1." It’s a completely new era in New York Jets land — again — as they hired a new head coach in Aaron Glenn and said goodbye to the Aaron Rodgers-Davante Adams experiment. The Jets have eight picks in the 2025 NFL Draft, and despite acquiring Justin Fields as the new QB1 for $40 million over two years, they are predicted to select a QB of the... PFSN’s latest seven-round 2025 NFL Mock Draft from Brentley Weissman breaks down all eight of the Jets’ picks, which include a tight end, a defensive lineman, and a quarterback at the top of the... After losing Tyler Conklin, the Jets need a new tight end, and in Weissman’s mock draft, they land the No.

1 prospect, Tyler Warren. “The New York Jets will be entering a rebuilding phase this season as they move forward with their new regime. While they certainly have needs to address, taking the best player available might be the smart move,” Weissman said. “Tyler Warren is a unique playmaking tight end who can do many different things. With Justin Fields now at quarterback, investing in a tight end who can be a pass-catching option but also has run-blocking chops makes sense.” Warren could be exactly what the Jets need at tight end.

He is one of the most versatile players in the 2025 NFL Draft and exploded in 2024 with 104 receptions, 1,233 yards, and eight touchdowns (26 total in his career, including a passing score). The New York Jets parted ways with QB Aaron Rodgers this offseason, opting to bring in free agent Justin Fields instead. Having embraced the reset button, the Jets now look ahead to building around Fields. While the organization filled the need at quarterback, they still have potential needs at wide receiver, tight end, and across their defense. To simplify our job, I’ve outlined some team needs we can use in this New York Jets 2025 NFL Draft Mock Draft, which features all 7 rounds. If you look at the 2025 NFL Draft up to this point, this really feels like the first opportunity to see a team trade up. The Jets have several needs, but those positions have plenty of depth in this class.

Whether it’s wide receiver, tight end, or offensive tackle, there are plenty of options on day two or early day three. With that being said, I’m not doing trades in this New York Jets 7-round mock draft. Instead, I’ll go best player available in Tetairoa McMillan. There has been some discussion about him falling in this class. However, I’m not buying it. Give me the 6′ 5″ big-bodied outside receiver all day.

As I mentioned above, it currently seems that the Jets will rely on Carter Warren to start at right tackle. Through two seasons with the Jets, Warren has only 542 snaps on the offensive line. We don’t really know where the organization stands on him, but his PFF grade isn’t very solid. I’ll start this analysis off by stating that I don’t believe Fannin will make it all the way to pick 73. He’s TE3 on my board, and by a pretty good margin nonetheless. However, I also think there are some valid concerns with him.

As I stated on X while watching him live at the Senior Bowl, I think Fannin has shown what he can and can’t do on the football field. With that being said, I think he more than fits the need as a receiving threat for New York. The Jets currently have the No. 7 pick in the 2025 draft. Below is a compilation of mock drafts. "The Jets would also seemingly like to get a quarterback, but I don't think they have the capital to get up there. So, Aaron Glenn will get the opportunity to draft the second-most disruptive defensive player in this draft. Graham's tape is unreal. He's a block destructor who's quick, stops the run and can really do it all. Adding Graham would really help that Jets defense." No.

7: TE Tyler Warren – Penn State The Jets ranked second to last in rushing offense last season, and they desperately need another target in the passing game. Warren helps them improve in both of those areas. See NFL.com's Daniel Jeremiah's top 50 prospects in the 2025 NFL Draft.
