Titans land Cam Ward, Browns reunite Hunter and Sanders in 2025 NFL Draft. The 2025 NFL Draft starts Thursday night with the first round. We break down the NFL Draft one last time with a Mock Draft. Tennessee gets its quarterback for the future in Ward. Cleveland gets a difference maker on both sides of the ball in Hunter. Something they desperately need.

New York Giants decide to take an edge defender in Carter rather than pick Shedeur Sanders with this pick. This year’s DBN Community NFL Mock Draft is underway with Cam Ward, Shedeur Sanders leading the way It’s time to kick off the 2025 DBN Community NFL Mock Draft! We are releasing four picks at a time in one post to give you more substance to digest how the draft is unfolding. Here you can see all of our NFL mock draft coverage for the Cleveland Browns The selection and write-up were made by Jared Mueller:

Ward is the best quarterback in this draft class and the Titans need a quarterback. It is that simple. With Brian Callahan going into Year 2 and Ward’s upside, Tennessee is in a position to secure their future at the most important position on the field while having spent the offseason building up... Callahan was instrumental in the development of Joe Burrow so he should be well prepared to help Ward, who is more dynamic (not better, just more dynamic) than Burrow, smooth out his rough edges. The selection and write-up were made by auteur83: The NFL season is in the books, with the Philadelphia Eagles dominating the Kansas City Chiefs in Super Bowl LIX.

And while we have to wait several months for meaningful football, we still have the 2025 NFL Draft approaching. While this year's class doesn't have big playmakers at the receiver spot like last year's did, it's full of lineman on both sides of the ball who can be franchise game-changers — just like... While free agency will surely shake things up, along with trades that will almost surely change the draft order — this is FOX Sports Research's current projection of how things will unfold April 24-26... 1. Tennessee Titans: Cam Ward, QB, Miami There wasn't a school passing record that Ward didn't break in his lone season at Miami, leading all of FBS with 39 pass touchdowns and finishing second in pass yards with 4,134 yards.

Will Levis has not looked like a suitable long-term plan at the position and Ward provides deep-play ability that Tennessee lacked all season. His 74 completions of 20-pus yards were tied for the most in FBS, and it's also worth nothing that he has a plethora of experience — having played five seasons in college before finishing... And don't forget, he doesn't turn 23 until May. 2. Cleveland Browns: Abdul Carter, Edge, Penn State • Travis Hunter heads to Cleveland, and Shedeur Sanders joins the Giants: Hunter would provide dual-threat ability for a depleted Browns squad, while Sanders could be the answer to New York's quarterback woes.

• Titans secure the No. 1 overall pick: Tennessee is the unlikely winner of the No. 1 pick sweepstakes, and Miami quarterback Cam Ward is the team's choice in this mock draft. • 2025 NFL Draft season is here: Try PFF's best-in-class Mock Draft Simulator and learn about 2025's top prospects while trading and drafting for your favorite NFL team. The 2025 NFL Draft order is now set for the 18 non-playoff teams. Here is one way the first round could play out as things stand, with the Tennessee Titans kicking things off by drafting one of only two quarterbacks selected in Round 1.

The Titans earned the No. 1 overall pick in Week 18, largely because of their shortcomings at the quarterback position this season. Ward won’t be a fit for every team. For as much as he has some heroic big-time throws, he also has some head-scratching turnover-worthy plays. But he has improved every year he’s been in college, no matter the team. Ward possesses the mentality and the confidence you want in a potential franchise passer.

It is April, and the 2025 NFL Draft is just a few weeks away! What is going to happen in the first round? We take a look at another 2025 NFL Mock Draft to see where top prospects like Cam Ward, Travis Hunter, and Abdul Carter fall. The Titans keep number 1 and go with Cam Ward to start our latest 2025 NFL Mock Draft. The Browns get an elite edge rusher, while the Patriots add one of the most versatile prospects in recent memory. The Titans have been impressed with Cam Ward during his workouts, and we think it’s enough to keep the No.

1 pick and select him at the top of the draft. Ward can make all the throws and has shown he is very good at moving around in the pocket to extend plays. He is patient and excels at throwing over the middle. If the Titans hang on to the top pick and select Cam Ward, the Browns will probably go with Abdul Carter to add an elite edge rusher to team up with Myles Garrett. While Cleveland needs a quarterback, they don’t seem to be sold on Shedeur Sanders and likely wouldn’t give up assets to move up to No. 1 to ensure it gets Ward.

They settle for Carter, which is a huge win because he’s an outstanding pass rusher with elite initial quickness. The Giants added quarterbacks Russell Wilson (1-year deal) and Jameis Winston (2-year deal) in free agency and will be using Wilson primarily to help transition to the quarterback they take in the 2025 Draft. With Cam Ward going No. 1, the Giants select Shedeur Sanders from Colorado and allow Wilson to play while Sanders gets comfortable. It will take some of the pressure off of Sanders, who improved his touch and downfield accuracy last season. Super Bowl 59 is about to put a bow on the 2024 NFL season.

The next big event for all 32 teams will be the 2025 NFL Draft. But with NFL free agency and the new league year starting in March, it won't be long before April 25, when the first round of the draft will go down in Green Bay. Here are the latest projections for every team with the order set to be set. The Titans, like other teams, should see that Ward is standing out a bit when evaluating him with Shedeur Sanders. Ward has the bonus of dynamic athleticism, including a polished, accurate arm, which gives some Jayden Daniels vibes in this year's class. The Titans can't mess around with Will Levis or a veteran bridge when they need their true franchise QB.

Abdul Carter, EDGE, Penn State (6-3, 250 pounds) One of the most quarterback-needy teams in the NFL right now is the Tennessee Titans. Head coach Brian Callahan weathered the storm last season in his first year in charge but we think it's safe to assume he's not going to be content to trot out Will Levis again... The Titans didn't address the position in free agency so we turn our attention to the 2025 NFL draft. We took this into consideration when we updated our Titans seven-round mock draft after the first wave of free agency. We aren't a huge fan of Ward going No.

1 overall but unless the Titans get a mint for the pick, we expect them to stay put and roll the dice on Ward. With a new quarterback, he needs weapons and Loveland is an elite weapon in the passing game thanks to his size and high football IQ. Highly competitive man cornerback with elite length and solid athleticism. Read Dane Brugler’s 2025 ‘The Beast’ NFL Draft guide. The NFL Draft features 32 first-round picks. It does not, however, necessarily feature 32 prospects with a first-round grade.

Most drafts don’t sniff that number. And though the 2025 NFL Draft definitely features depth of talent at several positions, the number of players in this class with a consensus first-round grade is likely in the low teens. That’s especially important when discussing the top two quarterbacks, Miami’s Cam Ward and Colorado’s Shedeur Sanders. Both are very good prospects, but I’m not sure we can objectively call either “elite.” A first-round grade means the player has almost no scouting holes, no serious questions about whether or not he’ll be able to handle a starting workload for an NFL team (likely a bad one)... A year ago, there were three quarterbacks who fit that bill: Caleb Williams, Jayden Daniels and Drake Maye.

This year, quite frankly, there are zero. It’s still possible Ward and Sanders land in the top 10. But it’s also possible one of those players — more likely Sanders — takes a tumble. So... what's going to happen after the Tennessee Titans draft Cam Ward? It's hard to look at the No.

1 pick in April's NFL draft as anything but a foregone conclusion after the decisions made in the first week of NFL free agency. Short of the Titans magically landing Josh Allen, Joe Burrow or a time-traveling Dan Marino plucked out of time from 1983, this team's going to need a quarterback. Ward is the likeliest candidate, and the Titans are in position to grab him. How does this affect the rest of the first round? Let's take a look in The Tennessean's latest 2025 NFL mock draft. Again, no surprise here.

Ward's going to have to start Day 1, and the Titans are going to have to build an offense around his talents. And, to be fair, he's got more than his fair share of talents. Big arm. Anticipates well. Moves well. Thrives in the pocket.
