2025 Nfl Mock Draft Steelers And Bears Trade Up For Star Power In
Soon enough, the 2025 NFL Draft will begin. The newest crop of hopeful stars will officially make the jump from college to the professional level. We'll know where Colorado QB Shedeur Sanders will ultimately land. Just how much teams truly value Boise State RB Ashton Jeanty will finally be revealed. How far will Arizona WR Tetairoa McMillan fall? Is Will Campbell really the first offensive lineman off the board?
All of this will be answered soon enough — but let's try and predict it before it happens with one final 2025 NFL mock draft. One of the strangest things about this year's NFL Draft is the simple fact that it feels like we know so little at this point. There has undoubtedly been a steady barrage of rumors and buzz for weeks but, in terms of the things you can truly feel confident in, there isn't much. That makes the draft itself exciting but it makes an NFL mock draft a bit more difficult. What we have to do in that case is take the rumors, reports and buzz that we've heard, weigh how real we think that is, then use a bit of common sense and predictive... Easy enough, right?
Let's do it, then. It's a full first-round prediction for the 2025 NFL Draft. Of all the things it's hard to feel confident in, this doesn't fall in that category. The Titans are taking Cam Ward first overall and they shouldn't think twice about it. Ward might have fallen in the bottom-half of last year's quarterback class but his combination of floor and upside with his improvisation, mobility and arm make him the tops in this class. Will Levis has proven unviable in Tennessee, so it's time to hand the keys to the former Miami signal-caller.
I'm not buying the buzz of the Browns trading down. Could they take a quarterback early in Round 2? Absolutely, but I think that's where Cleveland's trade investment lies. General manager Andrew Berry has stated he feels confident in allowing Travis Hunter to play both ways at wide receiver and cornerback, and I'm starting to convince myself of the same. The Heisman winner is a freak athlete with unlimited potential on either side of the ball with his traits, football IQ and the possibility for refinement. The Chicago Bears and GM Ryan Poles could be staring at an opportunity to make another massive trade with a quarterback-needy team in the first round of the NFL Draft.
Two years ago, the Bears dealt the first-overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft to the Carolina Panthers and received a franchise-changing haul of picks (that eventually became Caleb Williams) and wide receiver D.J. Moore. Now, with the 2025 NFL Draft just a few weeks away, Poles might have a chance to trade down with a team looking to move up for Colorado quarterback Shedeur Sanders, whose first-round slide... In fact, in a revised 2025 mock draft from ESPN analyst Mike Tannenbaum, the former New York Jets general manager has the Pittsburgh Steelers trading into the 10th pick and sending the Bears a... 83 and 123), and, here's the big one, a 2026 first-round pick. As for who Chicago lands in this mock draft?
Tannenbaum has the Bears pivoting to defense and selecting Texas A&M edge rusher Shemar Stewart. Now that the Super Bowl is done and the Philadelphia Eagles are champions, every team is going to try and emulate their formula for success. The Pittsburgh Steelers head into the offseason understanding just how high the bar is set so we did this mock draft with the purpose of trying to emulate what the Eagles do well and... This draft also included a trade with the Chicago Bears that sent picks No. 21 and No. 163 to the Bears in exchange for picks No.
39 and No. 41. We hope Keeanu Benton bounces back next season but if the Steelers want to stuff the run they must beef up the defensive front with a player like Williams. If the Steelers decide to re-sign Justin Fields, Milroe is the perfect rookie to draft and allow to sit behind him and learn. Cornerback might be a bigger need here but Ransom is just too good to pass up as a dual-threat safety who can stuff the run and drop into coverage. With the NFL Draft just over two weeks away, all eyes are on what looks to be one of the most unique drafts in recent memory.
This mock draft exercise offers a snapshot of the current landscape, highlighting potential landing spots, positional depth, value clusters, and the overall importance of each position. Let’s take a look at how things may unfold if Rounds 1-3 were held right now. It was clear entering the offseason that the Will Levis era in Tennessee had run its course. New head coach Brian Callahan didn’t hide his frustrations, openly criticizing Levis’ reckless and erratic style of play. The Titans signed veteran journeyman Brandon Allen in free agency and flirted with the idea of trading out of the top spot—but they seemingly never got an offer worth taking. After Friday’s Colorado Showcase, the Titans brass respectfully informed prospects Shedeur Sanders and Travis Hunter that they would be canceling their upcoming private workout, as reported by the Ringer’s Todd McShay.
With that decision, all signs point to Ward being selected first overall. He boasts a strong arm, exceptional pocket presence, and the ability to deliver accurate throws with both touch and velocity when he has a solid base. His ability to throw from multiple body angles and excel in pull-to-run or pull-to-throw situations makes him a dual-threat weapon. Ward’s dynamic skill set could provide an immediate boost to one of the NFL’s most lackluster offenses. A fiery free agency has reached the smoldering period, which means it's time to reset mock drafts. This four-round projection includes five trades in Round 1 -- four initiated by teams trying to get to the top of the mountain ...
and one by the team trying to stay there. Meanwhile, Rounds 2-4 are littered with notable names who could provide significant value. So, with the 2025 NFL Draft fast approaching (April 24-26 in Green Bay, Wisconsin), here is my forecast for the first 138 picks. Ward's been my top pick for the Titans since they secured the No. 1 overall selection because elite quarterback play is required to make it through the AFC gauntlet. His four-plus years of starting experience at Incarnate Word, Washington State and Miami are a major asset, as are his playmaking ability and toughness.
Trading for Kenny Pickett means the Browns could focus on taking the best player available at No. 2 before picking up another quarterback later in the draft. The extension of Myles Garrett does not mean Cleveland will pass on Carter, whose elite talent on the edge would only make the perennial All-Pro better. The pre-draft process is officially in the books, and all eyes in the NFL world are now focused on Green Bay and the first round of the NFL Draft. Similarly, Sporting News is also on the clock with its annual seven-round mock draft. The stock of several players at positions across the board is still unknown — as well as what teams are thinking they'll do with each selection — but here's projecting whom every team can...
SN's NFL DRAFT HQ: Live tracker | Pick-by-pick grades | Top 250 big board The Titans are getting more locked into taking their next franchise QB. Ward's arm, athleticism, and experience have appeal to help them move on from Will Levis. With free agency opening in the NFL, it’s time to reassess mock drafts. As team needs shift and potential interest in specific prospects evolves, it is time to see who can land where after the landscape just changed. In this 2025 NFL Mock Draft, we explore some new fits and see who could go higher or lower than previously expected.
The Titans should actively look to trade this pick. However, if there isn’t a favorable market and they stick and pick, Cam Ward could be the pick. 9 minutes and 43 seconds of Cam Ward dots. Hard not to want this guy in two tone blue #Titans pic.twitter.com/o1E2b8xIv6 The Miami Hurricanes quarterback is an incredibly instinctual and creative passer who offers the athleticism and natural playmaking ability of modern NFL passers. Ward’s ball security and turnover tendencies do have cause for concern, but if he can limit that in the NFL, then he appears to be the clear QB1.
