The NFL offseason has arrived, meaning it's officially "Mock Draft Season." While the 2025 NFL Draft won't arrive until April 24, plenty of the league's analysts, media members, and writers take the weeks following the Super Bowl to predict where the top draft-eligible players will... With the NFL Combine beginning Thursday and prospects putting their skills on display, anticipation for the draft is building. The combine can help boost the draft stock of undervalued talent, giving front offices an idea of the athleticism a player may bring to their squad. The 2024 NFL season is drawing to a close with the football world now turning its attention toward the 2025 NFL Draft. This year’s class is particularly intriguing because it lacks depth and premier talent at positions like wide receiver and cornerback, but the pre-draft process will create plenty of risers and fallers. Our latest 2025 NFL mock draft takes you through our latest Round 1 projections for all 32 teams. With the offseason underway, we’ve also included a few trades in our 2025 NFL Draft mock so let’s dive in. By keeping general manager Joe Schoen and head coach Brian Daboll, the New York Giants put themselves in a position where they must take a quarterback. A GM with his job at stake will be more aggressive, even if it means sacrificing future draft assets.
So, New York gets aggressive here. Cam Ward offers superior physical tools compared to Shedeur Sanders and he seems to be the preferred QB for Tyrone Tracy Jr. and Malik Nabers. Ward’s athleticism and arm strength make him an exciting fit in Daboll’s offense and New York has enough of a supporting cast in place to make life easier for the rookie quarterback. Signing a veteran QB on the cheap (Kirk Cousins) is a viable possibility, but at this point, other teams can offer a better supporting cast. So, Cleveland rolls the dice on a rookie. Shedeur Sanders is experienced, poised, makes good decisions with the football and is accurate. Kevin Stefanski’s system needs a polished passer on a rookie-scale contract who can execute the play designs while adding a little creativity when needed. Plus, there won’t be a ton of pressure on Sanders to perform well immediately. Related: Insider sheds light on odds of Cleveland Browns making Myles Garrett trade
After much anticipation, the 2025 NFL Draft is just days away. The Tennessee Titans are on the clock. Is it a formality the Titans will select Cam Ward No. 1 overall? Cleveland Browns general manager Andrew Berry praised Colorado Heisman Trophy winner Travis Hunter. Are the Browns targeting Hunter at No.
2? Where is Hunter’s teammate, Shedeur Sanders, going to end up? Defensive line is considered the deepest position group in the NFL draft. This year’s running backs class is strong, too. We’re going to get answers to all our questions from the draft in Green Bay next week. USA TODAY Sports’ Tyler Dragon provides his third mock draft less than a week before all the action kicks off.
The Titans and Ward have been tied together for weeks. Tennessee’s reluctance to pursue a quarterback during free agency is an indication that they intend to draft a young passer. Ward is the consensus top QB in this year’s class. Here are the full team-by-team results from Chad Reuter's seven-round mock draft of active NFL players for the 2025 season. With the NFL Scouting Combine in the rearview mirror, it’s time for another mock draft ahead of NFL free agency. Below is my mock draft without trades.
Next month, I’ll have trades in my next mock draft once we receive answers to many looming questions, especially regarding the quarterback position. There’s a discussion about the Titans going with Abdul Carter or Travis Hunter. I wouldn’t fault them for that, but unless they add a veteran quarterback in free agency, I can’t imagine them going into next season with Will Levis again. I used to believe the Browns should build the team up before getting their next quarterback, but with the talent on the roster and the team retaining Myles Garrett, they need to bring someone... If Cam Ward is here, they’ll go with him, but I’m starting to believe the Browns will take a quarterback. From the No.
1 overall pick to Mr. Irrelevant, we’re predicting all 257 selections. It takes a special kind of degeneracy to do a seven round mock draft, but here we are. This is the final stretch to the 2025 NFL Draft and it’s time to celebrate everyone available — even a seventh round depth cornerback who will play a little special teams and be gone... Just because this mock is BIG doesn’t mean it’s devoid of logic. We took a look at team needs, BPA value, and matched it with offensive and defensive philosophy to not just slot players in — but put them where they make sense.
Also of note: There are no trades in this mock. We didn’t add them in to stop this getting too messy, but there obviously will be deals on draft night. There are a few obvious pivot points in the draft where deals are likely to be done. So, without further ado, here’s the full mock. Feel free to use “control + f” to find your favorite team. We’re through the NFL scouting combine, and free agency isn’t over yet, save for a few big-name quarterbacks and older receivers. Pro days are also taking place, so it’s a good time to revisit the mock draft board and see where things stand regarding team needs. This is how our network of On SI publishers and reporters see the first round playing out. Unlike last year, when we had a run on quarterbacks in the top half of the draft, this year will be heavy on the offensive and defensive lines, running backs and tight ends. Still, there are a few quarterbacks sprinkled in throughout the first round, so let’s dive in. The Titans have indicated that they’re going after a quarterback in the NFL draft.
And as time moves on, Ward is separating himself from the pack. The Titans finally get their franchise signal-caller. —Noah Strackbein, Titans On SI The pick: Travis Hunter, WR/CB, Colorado After I finish up “The Beast,” my attention shifts to a complete seven-round mock draft. It’s a time-exhaustive task, but I also see it as a helpful thought exercise to focus on team needs, draft trends and fits for all 32 organizations.
Scroll to the bottom for team-by-team draft hauls to better see how each team did in this scenario. (Editor’s note: An asterisk designates a compensatory draft pick.) It became clear at the combine that Ward would be the No. 1 pick. The only question: Would the Titans trade out or stick and pick themselves? Over the last month, it’s become apparent that Tennessee plans to stay in the top spot and hand Ward the keys to its franchise.
The Browns are desperate to get the quarterback position right, although I don’t expect them to force the pick. With the best player in the draft still available, it makes sense that the choice here would be Hunter, who could provide a spark on offense (and defense).
