And waited. And waited. And then my top-ranked quarterback just kept falling -- all the way to Day 3.

What a strange and exciting 2025 NFL draft it was. Now that we're through all 257 picks, it's time for my favorite exercise every year: grading how all 32 teams fared with their selections, from Round 1 through Round 7. Which teams actually got value? Which ones check off roster needs across the three days? And which ones clearly improved as we look ahead to the 2025 season and beyond? I'm looking for the good, the bad, the steals, the reaches and the downright head-scratching moments.

I graded the 32 draft classes using my own Big Board rankings and positional grades to see how efficient each franchise was in maneuvering the board. Trades -- both up and down the draft order -- were also factored in; that's all part of the overall value. I recapped Round 1 on Thursday night and Rounds 2 and 3 on Friday evening, but I'll go a little deeper here and touch on every team. Here are the team-by-team grades. We'll start with the best report cards and go to the worst. Teams that have identical letter grades are listed in alphabetical order.

One pick later, the Atlanta Falcons made a deal with the Los Angeles Rams to move back into the first round and select Tennessee defensive end James Pearce Jr. We will be tracking all 257 picks for Rounds 1-7, and you also can check out all the best available draft prospects. In due time, we’ll know whether the Jacksonville Jaguars’ risky decision to acquire the Cleveland Browns’ No. 2 pick to select Travis Hunter was a giant mistake or a monumental moment for the franchise. And we’ll find out whether NFL teams were right to make Shedeur Sanders a Day 3 pick to the Browns, going long after the Tennessee Titans took Cam Ward with the No. 1 pick. But patience isn’t really a thing in the NFL. Teams often want fast results, with surroundings playing an important factor in how a prize rookie does early in their career.

JUMP TO GRADES: Round 1 | Round 2 | Round 3 1. Tennessee Titans: Cam Ward, QB, Miami (6-2, 219 pounds) The 2024 college football season is down to its final four teams, and the NFL regular season concluded Sunday. A lot will change before April 24, when the draft rolls into Green Bay, Wisconsin.

Some players will unexpectedly return to school; others will surprisingly declare early. Pre-draft events will shake up boards. And offseason needs will be altered by free agency in March. So take this mock draft as a barometer of where things are right now. Our draft order is based on the final regular season standings, as the first 18 picks are officially set. Tennessee is on the clock with the top pick!

The order for playoff teams isn't yet determined, so we relied on ESPN's Football Power Index there (Nos. 19-32). And because no first-round picks have been traded yet, every team is set to enter the draft with its own Day 1 selection. Here are my projections for all 32 first-round picks in 2025, starting with the Titans. (Note: Underclassmen are noted with an asterisk.) See more from ESPN+: QB Hot Board | Position rankings
