2025 7 Round Tennessee Titans Mock Draft From Nick Suss Of Nashville
Let's help the Tennessee Titans get better. The 2025 NFL season has three games remaining before the playoffs begin, so the 2026 NFL Draft order is hardly set. The Titans (2-12) figure to be picking somewhere in the top five, and still have a punching shot at the No. 1 pick. But let's not get bogged down too deep into the details just yet. Instead of working through draft order scenarios and strength of schedule tiebreakers, let's familiarize ourselves with a couple of names who make sense as potential targets, examine positions where it'll make sense for the...
Here is a way-too-early swing at a seven-round mock draft for the Tennessee Titans, with the draft order set thorough Week 15. It's easy to do a disservice to Bain here. We can talk about how the best move is for the Titans to trade back and acquire more picks. We can talk about how Bain's shorter stature and shorter arms make him a tough sell as a top-five pick off the edge. We can talk about how measurements and testing are likely to push him down boards, and the Titans might be better served picking a tools-ier prospect like Ohio State's Arvell Reese. Let's instead say this: Squint while watching Bain's tape and it's easy to see a player not all that different from L.A.
Rams standout Jared Verse. He plays with power, but he can dip around tackles with speed and bend in an impressive way. He plays well against top competition and he way hyper productive throughout 2025. The Titans need a powerful, versatile, game-changing presence off the edge, and while Bain maybe doesn't have the A1 potential of recent top-five picks like Aidan Hutchinson or Will Anderson Jr., he's an automatic... The 2025 NFL Draft begins with the Tennessee Titans at No. 1 overall, and many expect them to select Miami quarterback Cam Ward.
Tennessee is in the market for a new quarterback after Will Levis struggled last season, and all the Titans did in free agency was sign Brandon Allen and Tim Boyle. Quarterback headlines the list of Titans needs, but it's not the only important position Tennessee should address later this month. The Titans are desperate for pass-rush help after parting ways with Harold Landry last month, and also need help at receiver. While the offensive line was revamped in free agency, a couple of depth pieces would be nice, and then the Titans could target talent at linebacker, safety and running back. As it stands now, the Titans hold just two picks in the top 100 but could that change? Let's run through a seven-round mock draft for the Titans, using Pro Football Network's mock draft machine.
Since I'm Mike Borgonzi in this situation, I orchestrated a couple of trades down the draft board. Ready? Let's jump in. The 2025 NFL Draft is to take place from April 24-26 at Lambeau Field in Green Bay, Wisconsin. More draft coverage can be found at CBSSports.com, including the weekly mock drafts and a regularly available look at the eligible prospects. The 2025 NFL Scouting Combine begins this week, putting the Tennessee Titans at center stage as the clock continues to tick on their decision for what to do with the No.
1 pick in April's NFL draft. After a 3-14 season that culminated in a general manager change and brand-new organizational structure, the Titans head to Indianapolis for this year's combine principally needing help at quarterback, offensive line, pass rusher and... With another couple of weeks ahead before the Titans can begin addressing those needs in free agency, the combine is a first-look opportunity for the Titans to interview and vet candidates for the No. 1 pick and beyond. Before the combine, here's a projected look at what the Titans will be able to do in all seven rounds of the 2025 NFL Draft. MOCK DRAFT: 2025 NFL mock draft: Solving each team's biggest need, with obvious choice for Tennessee Titans
The Titans trade down a couple of picks with the QB-needy Giants, adding pick No. 65 in the third round and first- and third-round picks in 2026. It's not as big of a haul as the Titans could get for trading back to No. 6 or No. 7. But this way the Titans still guarantee they can land a premier talent while adding three top-100 picks.
The Titans have some underrated needs across the interior of their offensive line. Dillon Radunz, Daniel Brunskill, and Corey Levin will see their contracts expire in March. Starting center Lloyd Cushenberry is recovering from a serious injury. The Titans should sign at least one starting lineman in free agency, but depth and versatility should also arrive via the draft. Caleb Rogers displayed legitimate five-position capability in Mobile at this year's Senior Bowl. The Titans could expect movement at off-ball linebacker this offseason.
Kenenth Murray Jr. is a potential cap casualty and Jerome Baker will depart in free agency. Jack Gibbens also suffered a gruesome season-ending injury. Young defenders like Cedric Gray and James Williams haven't earned trust yet. Adding another player to the mix, especially a coverage-specialty one like Georgia's Smael Mondon Jr., makes sense. The defense is well-positioned at cornerback, but you can never have too much depth, especially considering the injury issues L'Jarius Sneed and Chido Awuzie faced this past season.
Furthermore, Darrell Baker Jr. is scheduled to reach the open market. Robert Longerbeam is a competitive corner who shined at the East-West Shrine Bowl. Doubling down at EDGE makes sense. Ahmed Hassanein recorded 22 sacks across the previous two campaigns at Boise State. He's another East-West Shrine standout, and will become the first Egyptian ever drafted into the NFL.
Months and months of mock draft have all led to this . . . and it's still next to impossible to predict what the 2025 NFL Draft is going to look like for the Tennessee Titans after Round 1. All of the news, analysts, fan predictions and Fortnite streams seem to point toward the Titans picking Miami quarterback Cam Ward first overall when the draft begins Thursday, April 24. After that, it's hard to say.
First-year general manager Mike Borgonzi inherits a roster that needs help just about everywhere. And with this being his first draft, no one yet knows how he'll prioritize positional value vs. need vs. picking the best player available, and how willing he will be to making trades moving up and down the board. Throw in the fact that this year's first round figures to be one of the most unpredictable in years — it's tough to even begin guessing who will be on the board when the... 35 in the second round.
But let's try. Here's The Tennessean's final swing at a Titans seven-round mock draft. And oh, what a mystery it has been. The Titans have been bracing for this for months, and Ward comes in as the presumptive starter who'll be tasked with fixing an offense that hasn't been effective through the air for half a... Here are the full team-by-team results from Chad Reuter's seven-round mock draft of active NFL players for the 2025 season.
