There will be 17 draft prospects waiting in the green room to hear their name announced next week. The NFL announced the players who will attend the first round next Thursday night in Green Bay: When players commit to attending the first round of the draft, their respective camps have often been given some kind of assurance that they’ll be selected within the top-32 picks. Of course, that’s not a prerequisite, and as we’ve seen many times, there are some overly-confident prospects who subsequently endure the very-public waiting game.

Per usual, the most notable inclusions surround the QB position. Cam Ward is the favorite to go first-overall, and Shedeur Sanders (who is absent from this list) is also expected to be selected at some point in the first round. After that, the position is pretty uncertain, and that could lead to some awkward moments for the other QBs who decided to attend. Ole Miss’ Jaxson Dart and Alabama’s Jalen Milroe have firmly established themselves in that next tier of QB prospects, and recent reports have indicated that they should be at least Day 2 picks. There haven’t been any definitive reports about their Day 1 candidacy, and while we shouldn’t read too much into the list of attendees, it is notable that both prospects believe they have a shot... I believe 2023 had three or four attendees who weren’t drafted on day one.

I would be stunned if Milroe went on day one, as I think most people would be. NEW YORK (AP) -- Top prospects Cam Ward, Travis Hunter and Abdul Carter will attend next week's NFL Draft in person. The league announced on Monday that 17 players have been confirmed to attend the draft in Green Bay. The draft will be held from April 24-26, with Ward, Hunter and Carter the favorites to be selected with the top three picks, according to BetMGM. Ward, the former Miami star, will be joined by two other quarterbacks at the draft with Ole Miss's Jaxson Dart and Alabama's Jalen Milroe also set to attend. Colorado's Shedeur Sanders, who is projected to be the second quarterback taken in the draft, will not be in attendance.

Milroe will be joined by two Crimson Tide teammates with linebacker Jihaad Campbell and guard Tyler Booker also accepting invitations. Two other schools will have multiple players attending the draft in person with Michigan sending defensive tackle Mason Graham and cornerback Will Johnson and Georgia sending defensive end Mykel Williams and safety Malaki Starks. The other players who are confirmed to attend the draft are LSU tackle Will Campbell, Texas receiver Matthew Golden, Boise State running back Ashton Jeanty, Arizona receiver Tetairoa McMillan, Ohio State tackle Josh Simmons,... 17 prospects are confirmed to attend the 2025 NFL Draft presented by Bud Light in Green Bay. Three colleges – Alabama (three players), Georgia (two) and Michigan (two) – will have multiple players on-site. The Southeastern Conference leads all conferences with nine prospects confirmed to attend, followed by the Big Ten (four), Big 12 (two), Atlantic Coast Conference (one) and Mountain West Conference (one).

The Draft begins with the first round at 8 p.m. EDT on Thursday, April 24, and continues Friday, April 25, with Rounds 2 and 3. The Draft will conclude on Saturday, April 26, with Rounds 4 through 7. The NFL Draft, which was held in Detroit last year, will be hosted in the state of Wisconsin for the first time since 1940. Learn more about the rules of the draft. Prospective No.

1 pick Cam Ward will cross the stage and shake hands with NFL commissioner Roger Goodell later this month in Green Bay, Wis., as one of 17 prospects attending the 2025 NFL Draft. Joining him in the green room will be fellow quarterbacks Jaxson Dart and Jalen Milroe along with wide receiver/cornerback Travis Hunter, as announced by the NFL on Monday. Notably, potential first-round quarterback Shedeur Sanders was not listed as an attendee. The 17 attendees match the number who attended the Kansas City draft in 2023. In-person draft attendance has teetered since the 2020 event was held virtually due to COVID. Just 13 prospects attended last year’s draft in Detroit, the second-fewest since 2010 behind the 12 who went to Cleveland in 2021.

It’s worth noting, though, that all 13 prospects who attended in Detroit were selected in the first round. That makes Milroe’s attendance interesting as the 22-year-old ranks as the fifth-best quarterback in the class with a second-to-third-round grade, per The Athletic’s Dane Brugler. He and Dart (second-round grade) are the only two attendees without a first-round grade from Brugler. As of now, each of the 32 NFL teams have one first-round pick, with the Tennessee Titans picking first overall. The NFL Draft will take place April 24-26.
