Foxborough, Mass. – The New England Patriots will unveil a statue honoring legendary quarterback Tom Brady at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, August 8 in the Patriot Place Plaza, adjacent to the Patriots Hall of Fame presented by RTX. During Brady's Hall of Fame induction ceremony last year, Patriots Chairman and CEO Robert Kraft announced his intentions of making Brady the first player in franchise history to receive the honor of being immortalized... Kraft will host the 15- to 20-minute ceremony and reveal the larger-than-life, 12-foot statue prior to the Patriots' 2025 home game against the Washington Commanders. Following the unveiling, Brady will provide his reaction and address the gathered guests.

The ceremony will end with various photo opportunities of Brady with his statue. Parking lots will open at 3:30 p.m. with stadium gates opening early at 5:00 p.m. to accommodate ticketed fans attending both the game and the ceremony. While ticketed fans are allowed in the plaza for the ceremony, early entry into the stadium will be allowed to ensure optimal viewing of the ceremony on Gillette Stadium's video boards. Reiss notes that, initially, the plan was to reveal the statue during the 2024 season, when Brady was at Gillette Stadium for a game. They targeted Week 5, against the Dolphins. A Week 2 concussion suffered by Miami quarterback Tua Tagovailoa prompted Fox to pull the plug on sending its No. 1 broadcast team to New England for the game. Brady and owner Robert Kraft are expected to speak at the ceremony in the hours preceding kickoff.
