Relaxing art making inspired by “Rachel Ruysch”: Grab a sketchbook and head to a special exhibition to draw still-life paintings, insects, and plants. There are presently no open calls for submissions. The Museum of Fine Arts offers studio art classes taught by experienced educators who are also professional artists. Teens ages 12-17 are invited to question, explore, experiment, and solve problems as they create and interact with art. The Museum’s collections provide an unparalleled opportunity to study the processes of artists past and present from a variety of cultural perspectives. Class sizes are limited to a max of 12 students to ensure that students of all levels benefit from these experiences.
