Courses in over 20 disciplines in fine art and design taught by practicing artists and experienced teachers. With opportunities for all skill levels, you are sure to achieve your creative goals! Intensive Summer Workshops provide an opportunity to immerse yourself in your art without the interruptions and responsibilities of daily life.

2026 MASSART AUCTION STUDENT CALL FOR ART – DEADLINE NOVEMBER 9 Call for Art: Indigenous is A Word for Home Animation: Behind the Screens: A Call for Art Week 1: July 12-18, 2026 Week 2: July 19-25, 2026 Program Length: One week classes Location: In-Person, MassArt Campus in Boston Ideal for: Artists, educators, creative individuals 2025 Cost: $1025-1230 per class MassArt New England offers one- or two-week sessions where participants immerse themselves in full days of studio work with faculty and peers. Evenings are spent at artist talks, live model drawing, museum visits, or independent projects.
The program takes place on MassArt’s campus, just minutes from the MassArt Art Museum (MAAM), the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum, and the MFA. Please note: unless a class is full, registration for an upcoming class will remain open until Friday at noon each week. Courses are one week, from Sunday through Saturday. Students arrive on Sunday and meet with their class in the evening, first over dinner and then in the classroom. During the week, classes meet from 9am to 4pm with a final class on Saturday morning from 9am until noon. On Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday nights, faculty present lectures about their work.

Please note that our PCE and Youth Programs teams work partly remotely. In-person hours are Monday through Thursday, 10:00am to 5:00pm Learn more about what resources are available to you as a PCE student, as well as the broader MassArt policies that apply to you. Current PCE students with active ID cards have access to many benefits off campus, such as museum access, discounts, and the library. You will be contacted by email or phone in the event that your PCE class is canceled. In some instances, PCE may need to adjust course schedules, faculty and course content.
Students will be told about any major changes. PCE classes are developed for adults and may have adult themes and content. Please see Youth & Teen Programs for offerings appropriate for students under age 18. To enroll in a PCE class, students under the age of 18 need their guardian’s permission.
