Nfl News Tom Brady Is Trending On Social Media With Incredible Speech
Tom Brady received one of the greatest honors possible for any player in NFL history. Robert Kraft and the New England Patriots unveiled an impressive statue of the quarterback outside Gillette Stadium in recognition of the legend who won the Super Bowl six times with the team. “This is quite overwhelming obviously. I feel extremely honored, deeply grateful, and if I’m being honest, kind of old. I’m also a little surprised because usually they don’t build statues until you’re really old. Like Vrabel and Bruschi.
Seeing myself as a statue isn’t something I could have imagined growing up. When I was drafted, I just hoped to make the team. I never dreamed I’d be standing here two and a half decades later, made of bronze and frozen in time.” Brady became a social media trend for his multiple jokes during the speech about the Jets, Bill Belichick, and some of his teammates like Mike Vrabel and Tedy Bruschi. However, the essence of the message was one of gratitude toward the Patriots. The Tom Brady statue is located outside Gillette Stadium in Foxborough.
Its exact location is Patriot Place Plaza. In his message, the former quarterback said that nothing would have been possible without Robert Kraft, Bill Belichick, and all his teammates. “To my coaches, thank you for pushing me every single day by always demanding the best. You helped me become the person and player that I am today. I know what this statue represents. It’s not about one guy.
It never is. It never has been and, in football, it will never be. It’s about a team and a commitment to being great together. I’m humbled and honored to have been part of this organization for 20 incredible years. I hope I’ve given to you as much as you have given to me.” Legendary quarterback Tom Brady was inducted into the New England Patriots Hall of Fame on Wednesday night, and he delivered an inspirational speech about what football meant to him.
Brady said he "would encourage everyone to play football" because the game provides lessons that "teach us that success and achievement come from overcoming adversity, and that team accomplishment far exceeds anyone's individual goals." The 46-year-old went on to detail the qualities that helped make him successful during his legendary career, which included seven Super Bowl rings and three NFL MVPs. "The truth is, you don't have to be special. You just have to be what most people aren't. Consistent, determined and willing to work for it. No shortcuts," he said.
"If you look at all my teammates here tonight, it would be impossible to find better examples of men who embody that work ethic, integrity, purpose, determination, and discipline that it takes to be... In 20 years in New England, Brady established himself as one of the greatest quarterbacks in NFL history by leading the team to six Super Bowl titles. Tom Brady addresses Patriots Nation after the unveiling of his 12-foot statue outside of Gillette Stadium, and he pokes fun at Jets fans, as well. When Tom Brady addressed the massive crowd at Gillette Stadium on the night of his jersey retirement ceremony last year, he spent much of the night fighting back tears and working through his emotions. When he came back a year later for the unveiling of his statue, Brady opted to take a largely comedic route with his speech. With an overflowing crowd occupying every inch of the plaza, the staircase, and even the highest points of the stadium behind him, Brady tapped into his Netflix roast persona to try to draw some...

FOXBOROUGH — Just minutes after his likeness was immortalized at Gillette Stadium forever with a 12-foot statue, Patriots legend Tom Brady took to the mic in front of thousands at Patriots Place Plaza. In a six-minute speech, the future Hall of Famer thanked the Patriots and the fans he played for over 20 years in the NFL — while also cracking several jokes directed at Mike Vrabel,...
“This is quite overwhelming, obviously, and I just thank you so much for being here. It means the world to me. I appreciate it,” Brady said to open up his speech. “As [Robert Kraft] just said it perfectly — people will never forget how you made them feel. And right now, I feel extremely honored, deeply grateful, and if I’m being honest, kind of old. The New England Patriots unveiled the first-ever statue of a player outside Gillette Stadium on Friday, and naturally, it was none other than Tom Brady.
It was a chance to honor the quarterback who defined an era of Patriots football after more than two decades of success with the team. Brady was present for the big presentation, standing tall and proud as fans saw the monument for the first time. It showed him in a traditional celebratory position, holding a helmet in one hand and raising his fist to the sky. As expected, Brady’s speech was equally heartfelt and playful. He thanked the fans for all their support over the years, saying how much it meant to him. However, it wouldn’t be a Brady speech without some jokes, and that’s precisely what he did, mentioning the New York Jets.
“This statue isn’t just for Pats fans,” Brady joked, “it’ll also give Jets fans something to throw their beers at as they leave the stadium every year. Probably in the second quarter. Maybe in the third.” 💀💀@TomBrady | @NFL pic.twitter.com/xX00FMrJoY After the New England Patriots and all the great names that made that franchise a dynasty had welled with pride and tears and shown bravado and humility in front of about 60,000 fans at... He thanked them all. Tom Brady is undoubtedly the accomplisher of all accomplishments. With 7 Super Bowl rings, 3 MVPs and a whopping 17 division titles, the former Michigan man has won it all and then some. Whilst the New England Patriots active roster is still in rebuild mode from his 2020 departure, onto now their 3rd full-time starting quarterback having selected UNC QB Drake Maye with the 3rd overall pick... And after the ultra-viral Netflix Roast of Tom Brady, the GOAT is now back with another public event; his enshrinement into the Patriots Hall of Fame. Yet, it wasn’t the ceremony itself that peaked intrigue: this event has been a total certainty for the past 20 years, but Brady’s incredible speech to the football world.
